El Condado De La Salsa

As part of a series called “Up and Comers” The Salsa Project created a beer can label inspired by the rich history of Salsa in the Bronx. Paying homage to Salsa and its African, Puerto Rican and Cuban roots, this brew uses ingredients from these regions. Pilsner malt, corn, and wheat create a refreshing, crisp, and full-bodied base, with layers of tropical and noble hop flavors that create a wonderfully rounded and flavorful golden ale. The addition of coconut, passionfruit, and lime peel (a nod to the Caribbean) will give this brew some extra depth and create a relaxing, tropical, summertime vibe!

PRESERVING CULTURE THROUGH BEER

This year we brewed El Condado as a traditional light lager but with the same fruit-forward flavor as last year. You’ll get the passion fruit and lime right up front - boosted by the citrus-y and tropical experimental hop 10416 - which then mellows into a coconut water vibe. As you sip, you’ll get aromas of toasted coconut.

El Cantante

Our first event of 2021, “El Cantante: A Virtual Event” brought to you by Bulleit Frontier Whiskey. This event will paid homage to the GOAT, Héctor Lavoe.

A Mover La Cuidad

In collaboration with On Running to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month we partnered with Octavio Platón AKA Monsieur Saturday to create these graphics for our Salsa inspired community run.
